Our monthly Salsa Social's back into the swing of things in our very own studio, large spacious dance floor, super cool air-conditioning, great people, and good dancing! The Halloween Theme was really well received with so many cool outfits and characters! See our gallery here!

RM10 minimum required contribution includes all workshops, pizza, coke, water, and all night dancing! Doors open at 8:45pm. DJ SalsaSamwill be spinning some hot Salsa music from 10:00pm-1:00am! If you have any request, please bring your own CD's thank you!

Havana Estudio HQ's Open Day

Argentine Tango "Milonga"

Havana Estudio in cooperation with Qba, proudly presents "Milonga", which literally means is a term for a place or an event where Argentine Tango is danced. Tango in its purist form is the fire, passion, and soul of Argentina.

The 3rd Annual Salsa Festival, this year with incredible instructors, and dancers from all over Malaysia, Singapore, London, Australia, and from New York. Others will be confirmed later. More info at the MSF website .

Baila Cuba Charity Fundraiser

Sunday 22 June, 2008. Grand Ballroom, Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

A full Cabaret Show by Singers, Musicians, and Dancers of Baila Cuba. Event starts at 8:00pm with luxe, cigar, expensive drink with full range of production. The singers and band, and dancers will be in full costume and give you an all-out performance. Tables are either at RM7000 or RM6000. Please contact Sharie 012-295-2890. Baila Cuba Dancers' Reception

A Lounge Show by Singers, Musicians, and Dancers of Baila Cuba. Doors open with Salsa music at 8:00pm, event starts at 9:30pm with the singers and band, then dancers will perform 6 numbers, and then they will lead a Conga and break into Social Dancing with the audience. 20 January, 2007 - Salsa Social Studio Party. Our monthly salsa studio party at 56A Jln Datuk Sulaiman, TTDI. This month, mostly Beginners and Improvers took the floor, with a lot of new faces - fantastic! 9-9.30pm Shines Workshop. 9.30pm-1.30am Music by DJ SalsaSam. 19 January, 2007 - Tap Jam: Bringin' In 2007! The 2nd Tap party At 34B Persiaran Zaaba, TTDI. With new and veteran Tap dancers. It's Tap Jam with Kong Eu and tappers from Rhythm Tappers @ Malaysia! Check out the picture gallery.

2 December, 2006 - Salsa Social Studio Party. Our monthly salsa studio party at 56A Jalan Datuk Sulaiman, TTDI. 9-9.30pm Brasillian Samba Workshop (Ache Brasil). 10pm-1am DJ Sam spins Salsa and Street Latin. See pictures of the party.

4 November, 2006 - Salsa Social Studio Party. Usually held monthly at our studio in TTDI. We were honored by surprise workshop by guest instructor Marguerite from Tango Club, Kuala Lumpur (9-9.45pm). Then it was our usual party with music from DJ Sam for Salsa, and some Merengue and Bachata - and for the 1st time, Argentine Tango. It was really good to see students and dancers being very open to trying something new. And the studio was packed to the walls! See pictures of the party.

13-15 October, 2006 - Singapore International Salsa Festival. 1st Annual international event, produced by Quebec Leisure and JJSalsaRengue, Singapore. see official website. Intl guests instructors include Edie the Salsa Freak (Los Angeles), Milton and Mariana Cobo (New York), Mario and Susanna (London), and Sam and Aisha (Malaysia). In 2004 and 2005, Team Malaysia represented Malaysia to Tokyo and Los Angeles. This year, we are sending Team Havana to Singapore to represent Malaysia, at the 2006 Singapore International Salsa Festival.Choreography and Direction for all 3 teams by SalsaSam.

16 September, 2006 - Salsa Social Studio Party. Usually held monthly at our studio in TTDI. It was a spectacular showcase of Team Havana, with Aisha and 5 Intermediate students (Peggy, Wendy, Andrew, Martin, and Kenneth). Salsa social dance party 9.30pm to 1.00am+. 3-6 August, 2006 - Malaysian Salsa Festival, Impiana and Suria Resorts, Cherating, Pahang. 1st Annual international event, produced by Linline Productions: see official website. 25 May, 2006 - Argentine Tango with Guest Instructor Maximiliano "Gytano" Paradiso. 8.30-10.00pm. Direct from Argentina, Gytano will introduce the magic of his Tango to you. 5 May 2006 - Club Bling presents Havana Estudio at Brabus Car Launch, NAZA Auto Mall, Petaling Jaya. 20+ Intermediate and Rueda Beginner students were invited to share with the VIP's our lifestyle choice, social dancing, Rueda de casino, and Merengue. Some VIP's also started dancing with us!

28 Apr 2006 - Masaru Toya Farewell Party, Salsa Havana. We have been blessed for almost three years with a Salsero by the name of Masaru Toya. In his understated way, he has brought the groove to higher levels by the way he dances. He and Jason Sirimanne were the first to do a duo Men's Shines performance. And because of Toya, Havana Estudio and Team Malaysia was invited to perform at the Japan Congress in 2004. And based on our performance there, set is up to be seen and consecutively invited to perform at the Los Angeles Congress in 2005.

22 Apr 2006 - Our 8th Anniversary Party, Seroja Ballroom, KGPA. Finals of the 2006 Salsa Contest - 3 categories (Beginner, Improver, and Intermediate), student performances from all our dance programs, and a fun masquerade part ytheme. Pictures of our 8th Anniversary Party.

28 Mar 2006 - Rueda de Casino program relaunched. Beginner Module 1-4 ended 25 Apr 2006. 13 couples taking Kuala Lumpur by storm.

24 Mar 2006 - Salsa Social Studio Party & Qualifiers for 2006 Salsa Contest. Over 20 contestants taking part in our informal social dance contest. Our finals will be at our Anniversary Party (see above).

25 Feb 2006 - Salsa Social Studio Party. A lot more people dancing more, eating less, and dancing 'till later. A lot more Beginners seen dancing around and "Alumni" students from a few years ago: Nadia, Shiva, Sherena, Robin, Charissa, and Mark. You always see them around, usually dancing On1 AND On2, and of course Rueda de Casino! About 128 people. Not bad for end of the month when it's usually quiet in the club scenes. 24-27 Jan 2006 - Cuban Extravaganza with Alberto & Naoko from Asere, Japan. We were treated to incredible dancing, and workshops in Cuban Body Movement and Cuban/Casino Style Salsa.

20 Jan 2006 - Salsa Social Studio Party. It was an incredible party in our new studio, with about 140 people, very very few complaints about air conditioning, and a lot of good recommendations for our next party, coming in Feb 2006. Thanks to Aisha, Jason Sirimanne, and the Setup Crew, not to mention our guest DJ Masaru Toya!

31 Dec 2005 - New Years' Eve Salsa Party: "An Evening of Elegance", Shah's Village Hotel. Special treat with DJ Lee and DJ Toya. Performances by our students who competed at the 2005 Conlay Competition, plus Jason & Masaru doing a Men's Shines routine, a 1st time in KL! 16 Dec 2005 - X'Mas Studio Party. Special appearance by Santa Salsa himself. Who would have thought grown adults can eat so much candy! Muahahaha...

17 & 24 Oct, and 1 Dec 2005 - Salsa Championship, Conlay Club - Students in Amateur Category. Crowd Favourite for Heat 2 & 3, Best Costume, and all-star Finalists. We were so proud of all our 4 couples who made it to the Finals! Congratulations!!
