GETTING STARTED

There are no trial classes or free classes, unless offered during our Studio Parties or Socials. But, we have a very open policy for all our classes.

Come and sit and watch any or all of our classes. Check out how we teach, the environment, the Instructors' style, parking availability, traffic conditions, etc.

If you like what you see, don't hesitate to immediately pay for classes ahead of time to secure a place for yourself!

For our Salsa program, because of the the popularity of our classes, we strongly recommend you come in person to register and make payment.

SALSA PROGRAM ONLY

RM200 cash with a completed & signed registration form will confirm your place with our next intake and take care of you for 8 consecutive weeks, 1 class a week, 1 hour a class. There are no additional deposit or admin charges.

If you do not come in person to register but arrange payment on your behalf, make sure you complete and sign the registration form 30 minutes before your first class starts, after which your spot may be given away.

Your class fees also give you the priviledge or using of our studio during all our open hours for practice with your classmates or other students of Havana Estudio.

If you cannot come to class, immediately contact your Instructor. We have structured our classes so that students can either attend a weekday or weekend class every week (Mirror Class). If you make sure you come once a week, you will forget less and have more fun with your dancing!

There are no replacement classes. Any move in class dates and times will be announced by your Instructor, but we hardly close - only during major holidays like Aidilfitri, Chinese New Year, Christmas, and New Years' Eve. Or rare emergencies.

MORE THAN JUST CLASSES

Because of our 10 years in the Malaysian dance area, our more experienced Instructors tend to give more than the hour of class you pay for. Because nothing's more exciting to them than a student who is passionate and eager to learn. So, don't be shy to ask your Instructor questions related to the dance they are teaching you.

But always remember to be respectful, because the Instructors are sharing their life experiences and skill, which probably took them a lot of time, blood, and sweat to learn, and usually the hard way.
