Established in April 1998 by Sherrie Dekorte, Havana Estudio is known for our quality, some of the best dance programs for social dancing and street style dance (Salsa / Bachata / Rueda de Casino).

Salsa Lvl2A is perfect for students with some Salsa, and who want to start learning proper technique. So many instructors make Salsa unnecessarily difficult – with Aisha and all our instructors at Havana Estudio, you’ll feel like Salsa is easy and fun!

• Salsa Level 2B/2C – Salsa experience is a plus, no partners necessary – doing 2A-2B-2C in sequence is essential to build your confidence for Salsa. Salsa Level 2 A / B / C “Beginner” (Year 1)

• build strong fundamentals with your Instructor Aisha, who draws from over 25 years of Salsa experience in Calgary Canada and Malaysia, and other multi-disciplinary dances.
• our structured Year 1 salsa program Salsa Lvl2A/2B/2C/Lvl3 focusses on improving your timing to music, exposure to a core set of salsa partnerwork moves, as well as good connection, basic musicality, shines, and social etiquette.
• on-going enrollment means that Aisha accepts students – into one of the different tiers Lvl2A or Lvl2B or Lvl2C – and targets your learning based on your specific skill level – please talk to Aisha to get more details and fit your schedule.
• Salsa Lvl2 is very popular for Salsa dancers of all levels – to build strong fundamentals. re-learning basics validates and strengthens what you know, and allows you to improve your technique and improve your social dancing skills.
• newbies are recommended to go through our Lvl1 and Lvl2 program to build a strong Salsa core base before joining Lvl3 and above. The majority of good social dancers in KL and Malaysia start with Salsa, and find that they are able to learn any of the other SBK dances in our social scene.

Bachata Level 3 A / B / C “Sensual Bachata” (Year 2)

• learn the latest trends in Bachata with your Instructor Sam, who draws from over 25 years of Bachata & Salsa experience and other multi-disciplinary dances.
• classes focus on exposing you to different popular Bachata moves in Asia and around the world, also disassociation and isolation exercises will help you execute Bachata moves more easily and with confidence.
• on-going enrollment means students with Bachata experience choose either Bachata Lvl3A (wed 8pm) or Lvl3C (mon 9pm) – please talk to Sam to get more details and fit your schedule.
• Bachata Lvl3 is very popular for those who are working on their Bachata technique – especially in learning new trends of Bachata movement and developing good social dance skills.
• newbies are recommended to go through our Lvl1 and Lvl2 program to build a strong Bachata Moderna base and get a structured introduction to Sensual movements, and developing some confidence before joining Lvl3 and above.

Salsa Shines Lvl1 “Basic” (Year 1)

Solo Shines (Open Level)

• Salsa Shines Lvl2 is on Thu 9pm with Sam – we expose students to classic shines, plus mambo, palladium, jazz, and a fusion of many other dances into what makes Salsa what it is today! This is a Year 2 program, but open to all!
• Salsa Shines Lvl3 is on Tue 8pm with Sam & Jennifer – cool Shine combos, musicality breaks, and stepping up your repertoire!! This is a Year 2+ program, but open to all!

• Chacha On2 / Pachanga Shines (Open Level) is on Sun 3pm with Sam & Jennifer – this is our 4th season for Cha-cha-cha with On2 Shines, Pachanga, Boogaloo, and much more! This is a Year 3 program, but open to all!
